How does this website work?

We post the questions. Yourself and other users post their humorours answers. Once an answer is posted registered users can rate answers up or down.

How do I post my own answers?

You can post your own answer to a question simply by clicking on a question in the latest answers page or any other section of the website. Once you have clicked on a question you will find a form on the bottom of the page, simply submit this form to add your answer. You will need to enter your email address so we can verify your post. If you signup for an account you won't need to confirm your email address for each answer.

Why the stripes? Can I view the website without stripes?

Well, next to beer, stripes are the best single object in the world. Also we like stripes (as you can probably tell). At the moment we don't have a destriped version of the website.

What do I do if I've found a bug? Or have a feature request? Or something just isn't quite right?

Why should I signup and create an account, are there any benefits?

Good question! By creating an account for HumorList you can do much more than an unregistered user. Features for registered users include a ranking system where users can vote on posted answers, posting answers without confirming by email address each time as well as many other benefits.

Why is there advertising on this site, where does the money go?

All the money that's made from the advertising placed on this website goes towards a beer money fund. If you don't want to look at the advertising, you can view this website minus the advertising by creating an account and logging in.

Where did my answer go? It was on here before!

If your answer is deemed to be spam, abusive or contain excessive foul language then it will be removed without warning. We don't mind small amounts of foul language if it's used in good context with your answer. If you belive your comment was removed by accident then please let us know.

Why isn't my answer on the latest page anymore? It was on there before!

Only comments with a rating of -10 or better will appear on the latest page. If your comment has a rating lower than this, it won't appear on the latest page.
