Online Comic Book Templates
I need help on transposing a web template to my Frontpage 2003?
I am building a site for my comic books. I found this nice template online but I do not know how to import from a winrar file to my 2003 Frontpage index file.
Winrar is an compressed file, you will need to extract it first. Try right clicking on it and hitting “extract all”. If you don’t see that option, you need to find some software to extract it. You can find some good ones at downloads.com, I recommend this one: (It’s free)

From there, you will be able to bring the site into AffrontPage.
No, I typed that right…it’s an affront to all that is decent and good in the world of web design. My advice? Find a free HTML editor such as Coffee Cup or PageBreeze to edit your template in, lest you want it to end up broken and mangled by FrontPage proprietary code.
Or, even better, get a copy of Dreamweaver. Expression Web if you want to save some coin. Expression Web is the program that replaced AffrontPage. It’s not the best, but it is still about a billion times better than FrontPage.

Sugarshock Comic Book $3.99 Sugarshock Comic Book. Originally presented in the first online issues of MySpace Dark Horse Presents, for which it won the Eisner Award for Best Web Comic, Sugarshock tells the story of a rock band led by charismatic but crazy Dandelion Naizen, a hyperactive singer/songwriter possessed of a mean hatred of Vikings (don’t ask) and a mission for a secret government agency that may only exist in her head. But when her band, which includes a robot bass player, is enlisted in an intergalactic battle of the bands — emphasis on battle — Dandelion gets to prove herself as both singer and soldier. This is Joss Whedon at his funniest and most hyperactive, with writing that bursts off the page in a way seldom seen in comics. Multiple Eisner Award winner Fábio Moon delivers the outrageous story with equal energy, as well as providing a fourteen-page look at his process, with never-before-seen character designs, page layouts, and promotional images. 40 pages. |
